We bought 3 acres of raw land in Wyoming... started clearing it... dug the basement... poured cement... and started framing!

This blog details our house building adventure... building our new home... ourselves!

Here it is with the siding up!

The color is called Country Red. It's a beautiful, deep, rich color.

I love that color! And look at all the windows! I suppose they open - are those the porches, behind them? I'll have to come see for myself! Which way do the windows face?

Hi Peg. Yes, the 2 banks of windows are enclosed porches... 1st floor & 2nd floor.

We're in the beautiful Big Horn Basin surrounded by mountains everywhere you look.

The porches face east where you can see part of the Pryor & Big Horn mountains.

Holy Hannah! I love your house blog Toni!! I've always wanted to see your house since we watched it being build for the 4 years in that house on the corner. How exciting! The color is my favorite!!! Beautiful!

Hi Alice! Thanks for coming by my house blog!

I just love the color too!

When it's all done... or at least done to the point that the kids won't fall off staircases... or into open holes... I'll have you over!!!

Hugs!
