Installed the shower and put down some of the hardibacker boards for tiling.
I found out that the Mapei Ultraflex 2 thin set mortar that I bought from Lowes a while back for my tiling job... won't work with the Ditra. The Schluter Rep said to use un-modified thin set only...on the substrate and to set the tiles...
So... can't start my tiling job until I get my supplies.. which includes returning 24, 50 pound bags of Mapei Ultraflex 2.

Hi Toni, thanks for finding my blog and the comments! Oh this is so much fun to find 'neighbors' in WY and MT through these blogs! I just took a quick look at your blogs but I will come back and look more later. It's finally nice out after 7 days of rain and gloom in Minnesota so I just have to get back outside! Our WY place is east of Lovell. We looked around Cowley before we finally found the one we bought. More later.....
